Ryan French »

Ryan is the founder of Tampa Bay Media Group and serves as manager, webmaster, and photographer.

His first break in television was at WFTS-TV, where he worked as a production assistant. Ryan was also employed as a dispatcher for the Tampa Police Department and Critical Intervention Services.

Ryan is currently attending Hillsborough Community College, studying digital television and media production. On occasion, Ryan can be heard on the campus radio station, WXYB Hawk Radio 1520 AM.

He volunteers his time as a technical arts assistant at Van Dyke United Methodist Church, where he operates camera and directs worship services.

He’s an avid bike rider and also plays trumpet in the Carrollwood Community Band and Van Dyke Church Orchestra. Ryan was born and raised in Tampa and lives with his girlfriend.

Steven Stout »

Steven joined TBMG in summer 2010 as a part-time videographer in Pinellas County.

He comes to TBMG with over 15 years of stringing experience in the Tampa Bay market and provides valuable ideas to the table. He has proven to be a vital asset in the innovation of TBMG since the first day he joined.

Steven holds several primary jobs, but also keeps his ears open to breaking news in his area.

Joel Varn »

Joel joined TBMG in May 2011 as a trainee videographer in Pasco County.

He has years of experience of working in the video production industry, and has worked in military communications.

Joel attends classes at Hillsborough Community College, where he is studying digital television and media production. He can also be heard hosting a weekly program on the campus radio station, WXYB Hawk Radio 1520 AM.

He will be training in Hillsborough County for several weeks, and will soon become our first Pasco-based videographer.
