TRINITY – The Florida Highway patrol is investigating a serious traffic accident in Pasco County.

The crash occurred on State Road 54 and Marathon Rd just before 7:30 Thursday evening. It appears a black sedan left the roadway, rolled over several times and came to a rest in a marsh.

One person was flown to a local hospital via Bayflite. It’s unknown whether there were more victims, or the seriousness of their injuries.
