NEW PORT RICHEY – Deputies are trying to determine who shot a Pasco County man Monday morning.

A passerby located 20-year-old Nicholas Heath of New Port Richey, shot in the roadway on Strauber Memorial Highway near Trouble Creek Road around 1am.

Heath was flown to a local trauma center and was last reported in critical condition.

No further information has been released.
